Are you Fatigued
and Unable to Lose Weight?
Maybe you’re over-stressed!
By Dr. Len Lopez
If
you asked 100 people what they think of when
they think of stress, most will tell you they
think of mental and emotional stresses.
Unfortunately, there are other types of stresses
that tax your body. This could be the reason for
all your fatigue and inability to lose weight.
The first thing you
need to understand is that stress triggers your
adrenal glands to produce stress hormones.
Unfortunately, too many Americans are walking
around each day with too many stress hormones
circulating within their body. This is where the
problems begin because your stress hormones can
trigger your body to store fat instead of
burning fat, it can trigger your blood sugar to
quickly rise and fall… which causes fatigue,
cravings, irritability, mood swings, headaches,
lightheadedness, depression and the list goes
on.
Please understand
that constant, everyday stress will deplete and
exhaust your adrenal glands. When your adrenal
glands are exhausted you are going to run into
several other health problems. So, if you have
been unable to lose weight, are fatigued, and
always cravings sweets – maybe the adrenals need
to be nourished first in order to finally
succeed with your weight loss program.
I believe in
“treating the cause and not the symptoms” which
is why it’s important to look at what’s going on
with the whole person. Those irritating symptoms
are a signal letting you know that your adrenal
glands are exhausted. And if they are exhausted,
you will never succeed at losing weight and
keeping it off. You must properly nourish your
exhausted adrenal glands.
How can you tell if
your adrenal glands are exhausted?
Take the
adrenal stress test
