Text Box: Losing weight, eliminating cravings and reducing mood swings is achieved by reducing 'bad' carbs, NOT by eliminating all carbs! High fructose corn syrup, maltodextrins, corn syrup, malt, dextrose, starch, barley, sucrose are commonly used refined sugars and sweeteners that cause a rapid rise in your blood sugar.  This triggers the release of insulin, which causes the body to store fat and inhibit the breakdown of fats. Trans fatty acids are known to raise "LDL" the bad cholesterol.  Trans fatty acids are labeled as partially hydrogenated or fractionated oil .  Palm and palm kern oil raise 'bad' cholesterol.
